Cloud Supermarket
Telenor | Accenture client
Telenor wanted to extend their product portfolio targeting small and medium-sized business customers. In addition to telephone and internet services they wanted to provide cloud-based business applications, and become a total digital service provider.
I was a part of a UX team of two and worked closely with the UX lead.
Consistent and Coherent user experience
Cloud Supermarket planned to launch a wide range of cloud-based applications using existing sales channels in Telenor. Therefore, it is quite important to maintain a coherent and consistent user experience whichever sales channel or platform the user chooses. In order to improve the internal communication among various projects we held weekly meetings with interaction designers, visual designers and product managers to keep each other up to date concerning every new design decision.
In the later phase of the project I made all the user journeys up to date before the first official launch. This provided a good overview of the whole UX in the Cloud Supermarket project. In the final meeting with business stakeholders I flagged where poor UX is expected and suggested improvements.

Iterate and iterate the design
There are plenty of underlying systems where the new solutions had to be implemented. This meant that we needed to translate business needs into design solutions, feasible in various complex systems. The complexity of infrastructure required many manual adjustments by customer service agents. Our job was to make the whole process as user-friendly as possible and present it as simply as possible to the users. This required many iterations of design solutions together with product managers and engineers. We held several workshops where all stakeholders participate and presented with high-fidelity wireframes of the design solutions.
I was responsible of making wireframes of design solutions aligned with the Telenor's visual and interaction guidelines for every workshop and documentation. For usability testing I made an interactive prototype together with a front-end developer.

Eye for details
I was responsible of ensuring all the design solutions were properly implemented for each delivery. Working closely with engineers and testers, I conducted several rounds of testing and corrected both major and minor interaction and visual design errors.
